A small homestead keeping chickens, rabbits, turkeys, and a few things with more legs than that — and a few with none at all.
Sleepy Hollow Homestead is a small farm in Oklahoma run by Logan and Katie Brooks. We keep heritage and dual-purpose breeds — chickens, rabbits, Bourbon Red turkeys, and a small menagerie beyond — in numbers we can actually care for. The goal has always been quality, not quantity: a few good birds, a few good lines, and the time to do right by each of them.
We sell hatching eggs from our Ayam Cemani and Sultan hens when the girls are laying. We teach rabbit processing to folks who want to learn to do it themselves. And we write down what we know about husbandry so the next person doesn't have to learn it the hard way.
